The Example of Jesus

The Bible says that because Jesus lowered Himself, He is given the name above every other name. Jesus is exalted because He chose to lay down His life instead of turning away, and because He chose to put the good of others ahead of His own good. That is the example that he wants you to follow. Jesus laid down His own life. What are you willing to lay down so that others may experience His life-transforming power? Choose today to live to give, because giving to others is the secret to a life of joy, fruitfulness, and abundance.
A Prayer for Today
God, thank You for sending Your Son as the ultimate example of how to live life. Give me the strength and willingness to lay down anything that I need to so that others can see You through me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
